Important Notes to be considered by the candidate while applying online for the above post:-
1. Stay As per Committee Resolution No. 670 dated 20/09/2018, non-reserved category candidates have to pay Rs. 112/ - (Number Rupees One Hundred and Twelve Completed) to be paid on time of online application.
2. The details filled in the online application form by the candidate will be considered final for the entire recruitment process and the proof will have to be submitted in original (including certified copies) when requested by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. If there is a change or discrepancy in the details and evidence filled in the online application form during the verification, the candidature will be considered void.
3. Candidate has to keep more copies of the passport size photograph which he has uploaded in the online application form and submit the same photograph at the time of recruitment process (written examination / interview / etc.).
4. If any candidate makes more than one application for the same post, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation shall have the power to decide on the cancellation of their application / applications.
5 Age, qualification and experience will be considered as the last date for accepting online application.
6. If the grade is indicated in the marksheet, degree certificate, the conversion table of the recognized university in its equivalent percentage will have to be submitted.
7. Experience only after obtaining the required educational qualification / degree as advertised will be considered valid. Prior experience will not be considered valid under any circumstances. At the time of verification of the original certificates, the candidate has to submit a certificate with the inward / outward number and date of the recognized institution including the duration of experience (day, month, year) and the type of duties performed / details of experience obtained in support of the experience shown in the application. Only the offer letter or appointment letter will be considered invalid as proof of experience but if from time to time it is accompanied by submission of increment or promotion order, proof of salary or other supporting evidence, such experience will be deemed valid after adequate scrutiny.
8. The employee performing duty in A.M C will have to submit the last month's pay slip at the time of verification of original certificates. In addition, if more than one position has been filled, a copy of the promotion or selection order must be submitted.
9 . Candidate of reserved caste as per his / her caste (Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, SASP and Economically Weaker Class (EWS / Non-reserved class) as prescribed by the Government of Gujarat. Certificate must be submitted.The said certificate number and date must be indicated in the online application.
10. In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socio-Educational Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Classes (EWS / Non-reserved class) who are originally from Gujarat, a relaxation of five (5) years will be given in the upper age limit. On the basis of the above caste certificate issued by a state other than the state of Gujarat, no benefit will be eligible for the reserve.
11. As per the rules, women candidates will be given a relaxation of five (5) years in the upper age limit.
12. Whether the candidate of reserved caste of native Gujarat has to apply on reserved seat or non-reserved seat? It should be clearly stated in the online application form and if the candidates of the reserved caste of native Gujarat apply for the non-reserved seat, then the applicable rules and regulations will apply to the candidates for the reserved seat.
13. The upper age limit for candidates of all categories should not be more than 45 years from the last date of acceptance of application in all circumstances with all kinds of concessions, except in the job of A.M.C
14. The subsequent change of category will not be accepted in the caste (category) indicated by the candidate in the online application.
15. For Candidates with Physical Disabilities:
• Candidates selected against the reserved seats of Physically Handicapped (Disabled) candidates will be compensated against the candidates of that category (General, A.No., Sa.Shaip.Varg, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe).
•Only if the candidate has a certificate of Civil Surgeon presenting that he / she has 40% or more physical disability, he / she will be eligible to avail the benefit of upper age limit and reserve as a disabled candidate.
• As per the rules, disabled candidates will be given a relaxation of ten (10) years in the upper age limit.
16. For Socially and Educationally Backward Class Candidates:
•Candidates will have to submit the certificate as per Appendix-A prescribed by the resolution dated 06/02/1996 of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment as per Appendix-2 prescribed by the resolution dated 27/04/2010 of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
• The maximum period of certificate for non-inclusion in the advanced class issued on 01/04/2020 will be three financial years including the year of issue but such certificate should be issued by the last date of online application and validation / acceptance of such certificate and interpretation of period. The provisions of the resolutions / circulars of the Government in this regard will be final. The number and date of the certificate should be shown in the online application form as well as at the time of verification of the original certificates. Even if the candidate obtains a new certificate after the date of advertisement due to an error in such certificate, the certificate mentioned in the online application will be valid to be eligible as a candidate in this category.
•The married woman candidate has to submit such certificate on the basis of her parents' income. If such candidates have submitted such a certificate on the basis of their husband's income, they will not be entitled to the benefit of the reserve.
•Annexure-A certificate issued in English instead of Appendix-A or Appendix-4 will not be considered valid. If a candidate has not submitted the certificate of prescribed specimen issued within the prescribed period, his application will be considered invalid and he will not be considered even against non-reserved space.
• The candidate should have a certificate dated 26/04/2016 of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment Resolution No. SEBC/ 122015/455246 / A and from time to time as per the resolution of the Government in this regard not to be included in the advanced class given by the competent officer.
17. For Economically Weaker Candidates:
•Social Justice and Empowerment Department Resolution No.: EWS / 122019/45903/A dated 13/09/2019 and Resolution No.: EWS / 122019/45903 / A: 26/06/2020 as per the provision for economically weaker classes (EWS) The certificate will be valid for three years from the date of issue. However, in order to avail the extended period of Issued Economically Weaker Classes (EWS) Certificate, the candidate has to provide a guarantee that his / her family income has not increased and he / she qualifies as per the eligibility criteria laid down for the purpose of reserve by the State Government. .
18. If a woman candidate wants to apply in the name of her husband instead of her father, she will have to submit a copy of the marriage registration at the time of verification of the original certificates.
19. It is mandatory for the candidate to write his mobile number in the appropriate place in the online application form, on which a message regarding future recruitment can be given. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will not be responsible for sending a message to a candidate whose correct mobile number is not written.
20. No written correspondence will be sent to the candidates regarding the recruitment process for the above posts. Just take note. Candidates are requested to visit the website of A.M.C of www.ahmedabadcity.gov.in for further information regarding the recruitment process for this post.
21. Candidates will have to appear for written test / interview on their own.
22. The rights of the selection process shall be vested in the Staff Selection Committee / Municipal Commissioner of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation as determined by the competent authority and the decision of the Municipal Commissioner shall be final.
23. The appointment of the selected candidate shall be subject to the conditions decided by the Authority.
24. If a candidate has misrepresented any details in the online application or is found to be incorrect at any stage of the recruitment process, his / her application will be rejected even if his / her application is rejected at that stage and he / she has obtained Passing Standard. In the future also, if the date of birth, educational qualification, age, gender, experience and other evidence submitted by the candidate at the time of appointment is found to be false, appropriate legal action will be taken against him and if he is appointed by such candidate, the appointment will be canceled at any stage.
25. Pressure brought directly or indirectly on the members of the Staff Selection Committee will result in disqualification of the candidate.
26. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation shall have the full right to do so in the event that there is a need to cancel or alter the given advertisement for any reason and the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation shall not be bound to give reasons for this.
27. Recruitment process for the above vacancies which will be subject to the roster rule of the time.
28. Considering the number of applications in the advertisement, respect all the candidates for further recruitment process or shortlisting on the basis of merit for further recruitment process / written examination / online examination. The decision of the Municipal Commissioner will be final. In addition, the probable written / online examination to be taken in the circumstances of taking the written examination will be conducted through a reputed institute in more than one session / different question papers under different set of questions. Candidates will not be able to have any dispute in this regard.
29. Considering the number of applications in the advertisement, Muni to decide the policy regarding validation of candidates for further recruitment process. The decision of the Commissioner will be final.
